Advantages over the last generation of pallet trucks include stronger motors, stabilising wheels, and Lithium-Ion batteries. EP brands this as the most versatile truck in their portfolio.
Both trucks share the same battery box, regardless of their power ratings. The EPL 154 comes equipped with a 30Ah 24V battery which powers a 0.75kW motor for normal operations. The EFL 185 is more powerful, being supplied with a brushless 0.9kW DC motor with a higher speed of 5.5 km/h. The EFL 185 is also equipped with a larger 48V 20Ah battery for longer running time and is more capable at a wider range of applications.
Integrated charger is included to maximise flexibility. The battery can be charged at any standard mains socket. Alternatively, the truck can be ordered with an optional external charger whichis capable of charging several batteries at once outside the truck.
Both trucks are equipped with castor wheels for added stability. This system has been upgraded for improved stability for a higher degree of usage.
