Used Reach Forklifts
With their mobile masts, a reach forklift is perfectly adapted for use in extremely narrow spaces, such as aisles in a warehouse. The mast is made up of an extendable arm which usually uses a scissor mechanism. This means that when the arm is fully retracted, it is narrower than a standard forklift truck. As a result of this, a reach forklift typically requires the operator to stand up in order to conserve on space.
As the name suggests, a reach forklift is designed to allow access to high racking. This is most commonly found in a warehouse, but can also be used in construction sites, docks and yards. Another excellent feature is the stabilising legs and the batteries which remove the needs for a counterweight. Some forklifts have a tilt feature to allow the drivers cab to move and offer a better view of what they are working on. Others have a totally open overhead guard for the same purpose.
Each of our used reach forklifts has had a thorough quality check carried out. This ensures that they are of the highest standard and will make an excellent addition to the existing productivity of the site.
