The job:
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all completed work meets safety and quality standards.
- Assist with managing the workshop and supporting other team members.
- Occasionally travel to off-site locations for service and repair work.
Requirements
- Strong electrical engineering experience, particularly with forklifts or similar equipment.
- Mechanical experience and qualifications are also important.
- Ability to diagnose and solve problems, especially electrical faults.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to mentor and support less experienced engineers.
- A valid driver’s license and your own transport (our location is rural).
- Commitment to following health and safety procedures.
- English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level (for sponsorship).
