The job:

  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, maintenance, and servicing on forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Ensure all completed work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with managing the workshop and supporting other team members.
  • Occasionally travel to off-site locations for service and repair work.

 

 

Requirements

  • Strong electrical engineering experience, particularly with forklifts or similar equipment.
  • Mechanical experience and qualifications are also important.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems, especially electrical faults.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to mentor and support less experienced engineers.
  • A valid driver’s license and your own transport (our location is rural).
  • Commitment to following health and safety procedures.
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B1 level (for sponsorship).
